How long have you worked for R&B?

I joined the company in May 2024.

What does a normal day in the role involve?

A normal day involves maintaining relationships with customers and pricing enquiries. Also support the after sales team with any issues that arise.

A bit of Insight on your career so far did you work in Construction before? If not, what did you do prior joining R&B?

I started my working career as an Assistant Buyer for a large construction company. From here, I joined Travis Perkins as a Regional Sales Negotiator working my way up to Regional Sales Office Manager. Our office looked after some of the largest civil engineering companies around the Midlands area.

What is your favourite thing about the company?

There are lots of great things about R&B. My favourite of these great things is definitely the team we have. Everyone is so supportive of each other which creates a brilliant workplace environment. Everyone wants to help, whether you’re a colleague or customer the team try their very best to support you.

What is your perfect weekend?

My perfect weekend, would definitely start with a round of golf. I would also go for a few beers and a meal in the afternoon. My chilled Sunday would include taking the dog for a walk with my girlfriend, then enjoying a roast dinner later in the day.
