All covers and frames manufactured to BS EN 124-2:2015. Multi-part units are dimensioned to the pit
clear opening; manhole clear openings are typically 20mm greater on each axis. Tolerances +15mm /
−0.0mm. Beams supplied hot dip galvanised. Other sizes made to order — contact our Telford

Commonly specified for data centres
Three sizes in this range are among the most often specified on data centre projects, for chilled water valve chambers, cable draw pits and plant pits in service yards: 1800 x 1800 (MPD180180), 2000 x 2000 (MPD2020) and 3000 x 3000 (MPD3030). Larger openings
Multi-part units are not limited to the sizes listed. Length is extended by adding support beams and rows of covers, and we supply units over 30,000 mm long and up to 3900 mm wide. Send us the pit layout and we will prepare a cover layout drawing showing the frame sections, beam positions and slide-out direction.
