R&B are pleased to be have been awarded a supply contract for our Compass Highway Duct Access Chambers along with Ductile Iron Manhole Covers & Frames to the DWDR project at Dover port for VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd to create a complete duct access solution.

R&B has successfully supplied over 30 specially designed Compass Highway chambers some of which span over 2000 x 2000.  The chambers were manufactured, delivered and installed within a 10 day period to meet urgent site requirements.

The Project which has a contract value of £21m includes a mix of heavy duty port paving, interconnecting roads, power and lighting, landscaping, street furniture, reefer gantries, fencing and access gates and border control facilities to approximately 10 hectares of the Western Docks

R&B’s Compass Highway system provided a durable, lightweight and cost effective solution in comparison to traditional brick or preformed concrete access chambers.
