C250

C250 ductile iron manhole covers and frames are certified to a 250 kN test load (25 tonnes) under BS EN 124-2:2015, making them thecorrect choice for car parks, service yards, forecourts and commercial or industrial areas carrying slow-moving traffic.

C250 is also the minimum specification for kerbside and channel positions — covers set within roughly half a metre of the kerb line take repeated wheel loading even when they sit outside the running lane, and B125 is not sufficient there.

All C250 covers carry BSI Kitemark KM 789143 and are load tested to 10% above the BS EN 124 requirement. Solid top single seal construction, held ex-stock in Telford in 450 x 450, 600 x 450 and 600 x 600.
