D400 - HA104 / CD534

Our CD534 compliant range of D400 ductile iron manhole covers and frames is specified for National Highways schemes and other works following the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges. CD534 is the current DMRB technical standard covering chambers and gullies on the strategic road network, replacing the earlier HA104/09 advice note — so if a specification still calls for HA104, this is the range thatsatisfies it.

Like our standard D400 covers, these are certified to a 400 kN test load under BS EN 124-2:2015, carry BSI Kitemark KM 789143, and are load tested to 10% above the BS EN 124 requirement.
