F900

F900 ductile iron manhole covers and frames are certified to a 900 kN test load (90 tonnes) under BS EN 124-2:2015 — the highest class in the standard, specified for airport pavements, port operating areas, dockside handling zones and anywhere subject to extreme concentrated wheel loads.

Our F900 covers carry BSI Kitemark KM 789143 and are load tested to 10% above the BS EN 124 requirement, giving a proven performance of 990 kN. On aircraft pavements and container handling areas, where a failed cover means both a safety incident and an operational shutdown, that margin is worth specifying for.

Available in double triangular construction at 600 x 600 and 900 x 900, plus hinged covers up to 1200 x 1200 in 150 mm depth. For the largest and most demanding openings, our specialist ductile iron range adds machine-seated and multi-part solid top configurations.
