E600 Gully Gratings
E600 Gully Gratings & Frames
E600 ductile iron gully gratings and frames are certified to a 600 kN test load (60 tonnes) under BS EN 124-2:2015. They are specified where wheel loads are very high: docks, distribution yards, loading bays and heavy industrial sites where HGVs and fork-lift trucks turn and brake over drainage points.
Two patterns are available, both with 150 mm deep frames: the Dover 420 x 420 and the Stokesay 600 x 600 double triangular grating, whose three-point seating keeps the grating stable under repeated heavy traffic. Both are cast in ductile iron for strength without the brittleness of grey iron.
For help choosing a loading class, see our guide to BS EN 124 loading classes. For chamber access in the same areas, see our E600 manhole covers and frames. Where aircraft or straddle carrier loads apply, specify F900 gully gratings. Contact our Telford team for stock and lead times.

slow-moving traffic — hospitals, food manufacturing facilities, retail and public realm schemes — where drainage performance, hygiene
and appearance all matter.
Every grating is made to order in the UK, so openings, bar spacing, load requirements and locking options can be tailored to the project. Send us your drawings or dimensions for a fast quotation.
Choose D400 for highways and carriageways, E600 for docks, warehouses and heavy industrial zones, or F900 for ports, airports and areas of
extreme loading. Ductile iron’s high strength-to-weight ratio delivers exceptional durability with easier handling on site. Standard patterns held in stock for nationwide delivery; captive hinged and specialist options available.
